iRobot Roomba 960 Robot Vacuum with Wi-Fi Connectivity
The Roomba 960 is a part of the latest iRobot series or robot vacuums with the latest in mapping software. It is controlled with an app and you can also use Alexa to tell it what to do. The 960 works well on all floor types but it doesn’t have as much suction power as the 980.
That being said it does have the laser mapping feature which makes it much more efficient at cleaning and can manoeuvre around the furniture on it’s route. It can clean for up to 75 minutes on a charge then automatically go back to the dock to re-charge then pick up where it left off to finish cleaning. It’s ideal if you have a pet as it comes with tangle-free, dual multi-surface blades so you have less maintenance in removing the hair from the rollers and it also has a high-efficiency filter to keep down dust and dander for cleaner air. You can schedule your Roomba daily through the app and check on it’s progress. It doesn’t have quite as many features as the Roomba 980 but it does have most of them and it comes in cheaper so still worth considering.

The Deebot can clean on all floors but it’s better on thin carpet and hardwood floors. It cleans in a random pattern when it automatically cleans but you have the option of edge clean and spot clean and if you have specific dirty spots you can engage the max power function for extra suction.

It has anti-collision and drop sensors so it can avoid obstacles and not fall down stairs or steps. It can run for up to 110 minutes on one charge and will automatically return to the dock for re-charge although it can’t return to clean where it finished. This is a cheaper option but worth checking out.
